This clock is made of solid Walnut and is in excellent condition as seen by the photographs that have been uploaded.
p
This clock is made of solid mahogany and is in fantastic condition with just the off small knock and blemish here and there. Considering the clock has been around for the best part of 3 decades it is in excellent condition as seen in the pictures. The clock has been finished in dark mahogany but please see the pictures to give you a better idea of the shade of colour...
The clock has a German Hermle triple chime movement fitted in excellent working with very little wear and tear. Despite this the movement has just been fully serviced. The chimes can be silenced manually using a small push rod that is located in the waist of the clock. This lever is also used to select a choice of 3 chimes, namely: Whittington, St Michael, Westminster. Using the manual silencing feature, the chimes can be cancelled anytime eg when you have people around for dinner or maybe when you are watching your favourite TV programme!
The 3 brass heavy weights are tarnished and soiled with scuff marks but can be best positioned on the chains such that the worst of these imperfections are hidden. In my opinion the weights are still presentable. Re the dial, it is very ornate and in very good condition with brass coloured serpentine hands instead of the usual black coloured serpentine hands.
The hood of the clock is easily removed by sliding it forwards (please see picture with hood removed). This makes easy access to the movement should it ever be knocked out of beat or for more simpler tasks such as removing and replacing of the pendulum.
This is a beautiful clock which would enhance any home and the Buyer will not be disappointed.
The dimensions of the clock are approximately:
70.5"(H) x 15.75"(W) x 9"(D)

This clock is made from solid Mahogany throughout with the exception of the back panel and base panels which are made from Mahogany finish. The clock is in excellent used condition with just the slightest of imperfections here and there. The clock has been very well looked after and cared for as seen by the pictures that have been uploaded. I am not sure of the shade of Mahogany but I'd describe it has a medium Mahogany finish? Please study the pictures that have been added?
The clock has Hermle Westminster Chime movement installed which has just been professionally serviced and therefore in excellent working order.
Also, I have just fitted a brand new brass dial, brand new brass weight shells/fillings, brand new pendulum disc and chime bar!
The movement can be silenced at night or any other time you require some peace and quiet by adjusting a small push rod that is located behind the upper part of the long pendulum door. This rod is also used to select the Westminster chimes. The movement installed is an Hermle 0451-053H/114cm which takes the more traditional 114cm pendulum. The disc that has been fitted is also larger in diameter than the usual 115cm disc that is fitted to most standard sized longcase clocks.
Access to the movement is by either of two wooden panels that are located in the hood of the clock. This allows for easy access of the movement should you for example require to remove/replace the pendulum or for any purpose such as any manual adjustments on the verge/escapement. Access to the movement is also achieved by removing the panel at the rear of the hood of the clock.
The dimensions of the clock are approx:
82.25"(H) x 22.25"(W) x 13.25"(D)
This clock looks very traditional and would enhance any home.

The chimes can be selected/silenced by adjusting the small lever that locates through the elongated slot in the dial adjacent to numeral 3.
The brass weights and lyre pendulum are in near on excellent condition with just the odd light scuff mark/light scratch here and there. Nothing serious. The moon dial is also in excellent condition and perfect working order!

The clock has a Kieninger Westminster Chime German movement installed which was serviced just 18 months ago so in excellent working order. Please call me if you wish to listen to the clock chiming over telephone? (Or, why not come along and take a listen?)
The movement is powered by 3 brass heavy weights which are in very good condition. There are a few scratches towards the top of the brass weights but the weight shells are very presentable as seen in the pictures. The pendulum is also in very good presentable condition as is the very ornate brass dial as seen by the pictures..
The clock has the silencing feature which is easily selected by the adjustment of one or two levers located next to numeral 3 and numeral 9. If both levers are set to silent mode then the clock is completely silenced. If the lever adjacent to numeral 3 is silenced then the quarter chimes are disabled but the hour strike will continue and vice versa. Any queries on this please call me.

This clock has an Hermle Triple chime movement installed in excellent working order. The movement looks very clean but it will still be professionally serviced before sale..
There is a small lever that locates through a slot in the front of the dial which is used to select either Whittington, St Michael or Westminster chimes. This lever is also used to manually silence the chimes at any time.
The clock is powered by 3 brass heavy weights - the brass weight shells are in very good conditon as is the brass pendulum disc. There are a few very light scratches/mild scuff marks but the brass shells are very presentable and can be hung on the chains such that the imperfections are not noticeable. This clock is in excellent used condition and is made from solid Mahogany throughout. It has the odd blemish and a small light scratch which i have tried to picture. Please see the pic that has been uploaded. All imperfections are insignificant and hardly noticeable. I would describe the finish to be a medium to dark Mahogany but please study the pictures to give yourself a better idea as flash photography can be deceiving.
The clock has an Hermle Westminster Chime installed which is in excellent working order. There is the option to silence the chimes using a small lever that is located next to numeral 3. This lever is also used to select the Westminster chime.
The dial, weights and pendulum disc are in very good used condition - the weights just having the odd scratch/scuff here and there but very presentable and the brass dial just having the mild scuff mark which has been pictured. I would say that the clock is between 25 - 30yrs of age.
The hood of the clock is easily removed by first releasing the wooden turn on the inside of the cabinet. This then allows the hood to be pulled forwards and makes for easy access of the mechanical movement and its components. This is very useful when removing/replacing the pendulum etc
This is a top quality longcase clock made by one of the finest clock cabinet makers around, James Stewart of Ireland.

The clock comes with autonight silence - the chimes silence from late evenings and restart in the mornings. There is the option to cancel this feature. The chimes can also be silenced manually by using the levers adjacent to numerals 3 and 9. They can also be set individually for the quarters or hourly strike only.
The 3 brass heavy weights are in excellent condition with just the odd light scratch as is the lyre pendulum and brass moon phase dial(which has some very mild scuff marks as pictured), in perfect working order.

The clock is fitted with an German Hermle triple chime movement in excellent working order. The movement is very clean and looks as if it may have been serviced within the last few years. However I do not know the history of the clock so please bear that in mind.
The movement comes with a choice of Westminster, St Michael and Whittington. There is also the option to manually silence the clock at any time. Any of these features is easily achieved by adjusting a small lever that projects through the dial and is adjacent to numeral 3.. please see pictures.
The brass weights and pendulum are in excellent condition. Likewise the brass moon phase dial which is in perfect working order.

This clock is mainly made of solid Mahogany but does have some timber veneers such as the base panel/back panel. Despite studying the colour of the clock I am presuming that it is a shade of Mahogany although it sometimes difficult to decide between some shades of Mahogany and Oak! Please see the pictures that have been uploaded?
The clock case given a very mild distressed look and is in excellent condition with just a few minor scuffs and knocks here and there... please see some of the pictures that have been added. The clock case is extremely well built by perhaps one of the best clock makers of all time, James Stewart and I should imagine that the clock is about 30 years of age.
The hood of the clock slides forward which makes easy access to the movement which is very useful when removing and replacing the pendulum and for example to put the clock back into beat should it ever be knocked out of beat. The hood is locked in position by a small wooden turn that has been cleverly hidden by the Irish manufacturer.
The clock has an Hermle Westminster chime movement installed in excellent working order. I do not know the history of the clock ie not sure when it was last serviced but the movement is very clean and works extremely well! The Westminster chime can easily be selected by adjusting a small lever that locates throught the dial adjacent to numeral 3. This lever is also used to silence the clock.
The brass weights are in nice condition as is the the brass tempus fugit dial. The weights do have a few scuff marks/small dings and some very mild tarnishing but are extremely presentable. The weights can be hung on the chains such that most of these marks cannot be seen. The brass pendulum has some mild corrosion on the extreme edge but other otherwise in extremely good condition.
This clock looks superb and has been built to last. This clock would grace any home!

This clock is made of solid Oak throughout and is in excellent condition. I would describe the colour to be a medium Oak.
The
clock has a Kieninger Triple chime movement installed in excellent
working order. The movement has just been serviced - NOT RE-OILED as
some do - but carefully taken apart and cleaned properly! There is a
choice of Westminster, St Michael and Whittington chimes. All these
selections can be made by adjusting a lever adjacent to numeral 3.
Amongst the selections is the option to manually silence the clock. If
the clock is manually silenced using the lever adjacent to numeral 3 the
quarters will silence but the hour strike will continue! To completely
silence the chimes manually a second lever adjacent to numeral 9 must
also be adjusted to silent position. When both levers are set to
silence the clock will be silenced! Of course there is the option here
to individually select either the quarter chimes or hourly strike. The
movement also comes with the auto night silencing feature - when
selected by adjusting the lever adjacent to numeral 9 the hour strike
and quarter chimes are disabled. The chimes discontinue from 10pm
evenings and restart 7:15am (so, chimes and strikes at 10pm and silenced
at 10:15pm onwards until 7:15am)
Access to the movement is by either or two removable side panels that
are located in the hood of the clock. This makes for easy access to the
movement and also allows the movement to be seen chiming and striking
away.
The three brass heavy weights are in mint condition as is the lyre pendulum and brass moon dial.
As
seen in the pictures, this clock looks superb and would look great in
any home and is one of the very few Oak clocks that I manage to
purchase!
Dimensions of clock are approx:

This clock is in excellent used condition and is about 35 - 40 years of age although looks much older. The cabinet is a mix of solid oak and oak veneers. There is a small crack in the hood door - please see the picture that has been added. This is a very old imperfection and is in keeping with a clock that looks almost like an antique! The crack in the timber has not weakened the structure at all, the door is still solid with no sign of weakness. To be honest its hardly recognisable and gives the clock a slight distressed look and adds character to the clock.
The clock is fitted with a German Urgos mechanical movement and has Westminster chimes and can be silenced - both these features are selected by the adjustment of a small lever that is located adjacent to numeral 3 on the break arch dial.
The movement has been regularly serviced (professionally) by the previous owner of the clock - i have inspected the movement and i can confirm that it looks very clean with minimal wear.
The 3 brass heavy weights that power the mechanism are in like- new condition. The pendulum disc has a few tarnish marks but in a very presentable condition. The brass moon dial is in excellent condition and excellent working order.
I will be fitting a brand new suspension spring before the clock is sold. I am hoping to receive and fit the spring before the new year begins.
The clock was manufactured in the USA.
Dimensions of clock:
73 5/8"(H) x 18.25"(W) x 10 3/4"(D) where (W)&(D)= lower part of clock that is in contact with the floor.

This clock is fitted with an Kieninger Westminster chime movement which apparently has been serviced and therefore in excellent working order.
I have been informed that the clock is about 35 years of age.
The chimes can be totally silenced/partially silenced at night or any other time by adjusting either or both of two levers that are located at the rear of the mechanism. Unlike the majority of most Hermle movements, this clock has the option of silencing the quarter chimes and/or hour strike. This is acheived by removing either or both of the two side panels that are located in the sides of the hood of the clock. This also allows for easy access of the movement such as removal and replacement of the pendulum etc etc.
The dial very ornate and is solid brass and in excellent condition.
The 3 brass weights are in very good condition but do have scuff marks and tarnishing but are very presentable.
The case of the clock is a mix of solid Mahogany(mostly constructed of solid Mahogany) and Mahogany finish and is in extremely good condition! I have added a picture of the small imperfection that is at the very bottom of the clock and which in my opinion can hardly be seen. This clock has been around for over three decades and has been very well looked after. Being at an height of less than 6ft it would suit and enhance any home.

This clock is in very good condition with just a few minor imperfections here and there. It is constructed of a mix of solid Yew and Yew finish. The clock was manufactured in Copenhagen and has been very well constructed. It is very basic in design- nothing fancy, but looks very attractive with its leaded door and coloured glass panels in the pendulum window.
The clock has an Hermle Westminster chime movement fitted in excellent working order. I do not know the full history of the clock so please bear that in mind. However I was informed by the previous owners that the movement was serviced a few years ago. The clock has been generally very well looked after as seen by the pictures that have been added.
The clock does not have a silencing switch but if that is important I will quite happily fit a silencing device free of charge.

This clock is in excellent used condition. I have carefully checked over the clock cabinet and it looks to be made of solid Oak throughout apart from the back panel - which, like nearly all longcase clocks - is made from veneered timbers. If you require further pictures please ask and i will forward further pictures to your personal email address?
The clock has an Hermle Westminster chime movement installed in excellent working order. I am not sure of the full history of the clock but what i can say from careful inspection is that the movement has been serviced is extremely clean and has professionally rebushed! This has been done within the last 18 months - 2yrs and as mentioned above in perfect working order.
The movement is powered by 3 brass heavy weights. The brass weight shells do have scuff marks and some tarnishing but are in keeping with a clock that is 40 years of age. The worst of these marks can be hidden by correctly positioning the weights on the chains. In my opinion the weights are very presentable despite the scuff the marks. I have tried to add a few pictures of these marks but not easy when using flash photography. Please see pictures that have been uploaded. If you require more pics, plz ask?
The brass pendulum disc is in exc condition as is the brass tempus fugit dial.
Regarding the chimes, they can be silenced at any time by adjusting a small push rod that is situated inside the waist of the clock. This rod is also used to select the Westminster chime.

This
clock is made of a mix of solid Oak and Oak finish. Apart from the tiniest ding on the arch I would describe the clock to be in excellent used
condition - this clock is very clean and has been very well looked after!
I
would describe the finish to be a shade of medium Oak, please see
pictures that have been uploaded? However, it is sometimes very
difficult to decide whether certain shades of timber are Oak or perhaps a
shade of Mahogany! I have checked out the colour of this clock as best
as i can and in my opinion it does look like a shade of Oak. Please check pictures carefully before taking my word for it?
The
clock is fitted with a German Hermle movement which has been properly serviced
(NOT re-oiled as some decide to do before selling!) and therefore in excellent working order. The clock has Westminster
chimes which can easily be selected by
adjusting a small lever that projects through the dial adjacent to
numeral 3. This lever is also used to manually silence the chimes at
any time. The clock has a very nice mellow chime - not too noisy or
imposing which is perhaps more acceptable as the clock constantly chimes
every 15 minutes! (unless silenced of course)
Access
to the movement is via either of two removable side panels which are
located in the hood of tthe clock. This makes for quite easy access to
the movement for adjusting the beat of the clock or perhaps for pendulum
removal/replacement.
The

a few odd scuff mark here and there and some tarnishing/few scratches

The clock case has been finished in dark

This clock has an Hermle triple chime movement fitted and in excellent working order. There is a choice of Westminster, St Michael and Whittington chimes. The clock can also be silenced. All these features are easily achieved by the adjustment of a small lever that locates through a slot in the front of the dial. The clock also has a very pretty moving moon dial with the rather rare arabic numerals. The dial is made of solid brass and in excellent condition. The moving moon is in perfect working order. The movement is powered by the usual 3 brass heavy weights. The weights are in good overall condition but do have a fair few scuff marks where the brass laquer has faded over the years. However, despite this, the weights can be hung on the chains such that these marks are hardly visible when viewed from the front. This tarnishing is a result of years of use and handling of the weights(..to re-wind the clock) without the use of gloves! The clock cabinet is a mix of solid mahogany and mahogany finish. Typically, the mouldings, door frames, spindles are all constructed from solid mahogany. The clock case is is in extremely good condition. On the inside of the waist of the clock behind the base of the waist door, there has been a small repair job undertaken as it looks as if someone in the past has accidentaly dropped a weight which has caused some mild damage in that area which has been repaired at some time.
