The clock is in excellent used condition throughout, nearest to new you will find! The clock is about 25 years of age and has been very well cared for by the previous owners. The pictures clearly show the quality of this clock which looks and sounds superb!
The clock has been constructed from a mix of solid oak/ oak finish, then finished in a shade of medium oak.
The brass moon phase dial, brass weights and brass lyre pendulum are all in excellent condition.
Access to the movement is easily achieved by lifting the hood of the clock upwards and away from the main body of the clock case. This makes for easy access to the movement Eg., to adjust the beat of the clock or simply view the movement chiming and striking away.
The mechanical movement has been professionally serviced and the clock is ready to go - I'm just regulating it for accuracy of time keeping.
A video has been added to the listing which I hope is clear enough for you to see and hear the clock chiming and striking away. The videos only allows about 1 minute of 'quality' filming - anything over that time normally results in poorer quality! Please let me know if you would like a better quality video of the clock.

Manufactured by Interclock of Belgium / approximately 50+ years of age
The clock has been fitted with a brand new Hermle Westminster Chime movement. The chimes can be manually silenced at any time using a lever that locates through the dial at position 3.
The movement is weight driven on chains and wound by pulling the chains downwards.
The clock is in excellent used condition throughout with just the odd imperfection here and there, nothing worth noting - extremely good throughout! I am unsure what the timber is - could be oak, however, it has been manufactured from mainly solid timber. It has panelled sides with a very noticeable grain pattern which I have tried to picture. Please zoom in and hopefully you will see the grain pattern very clearly. Personally I think this is a very unique feature and gives the clock lots of character. The top side panels are removable to gain access to the movement. Eg., to view the movement chiming and striking away or to put the clock back into beat if the need ever arises!
It has three opening doors all held firmly closed with handles that turn through 90 degrees.
The three brass heavy weights are in good condition but the brass weight shells do have a few scuff marks/light scratches caused by years of handling to rewind the clock.. the brass lyre pendulum is also in good condition with a few light surface imperfections.
The original dial was severely damaged many years ago so I have fitted a traditional brass tempus fugit dial which is in excellent condition. It has the logo 'fenclocks' on the dial, but the dial just looks so good in this clock and a very close match to the original dial.
This clock looks and sounds superb and the buyer will not be disappointed. A great quality clock at a bargain price!

The clock is fitted with a Kieninger Westminster Chime movement. The chimes can be manually silenced at any time by adjusting the levers next to numeral 9 and numeral 3.
The clock also comes with the autonight silence feature which if selected, silences the chimes from 10pm and restarts at 7:15am.
