This clock is in excellent used condition.  There is a very light hard to see scratch on the top of the lower moulding which I have tried to picture.  I have added two pictures but please note that in certain lights the scratch is hard to notice!  The case of the clock is a mix of solid mahogany and mahogany finish and has been finished in dark mahogany (please study pictures).

This clock is fitted with an Hermle triple chime movement in excellent working order.  The mechanism has just been professionally serviced.  It has the option of 3 chimes - St Michael, Whittington, Westminster.  Any of these chime selections can be made by the adjustment of the small lever that locates through the slot in the front of the dial.  There is also a manual silencing adjustment for the chimes using this lever.

The clock is powered by 3 brass heavy weights all of which are in very clean and presentable condition with just the odd minor imperfection here and there, hardly worth mentioning!  The moving moon dial is in excellent condition and has the more sought after (and more expensive), silver chapter ring.  The moon dial is in perfect working order!  The brass pendulum is in good condition but does have a surface scratch on one side... once again hard to see in certain lights. 

Access to the movement is easily achieved by lifting the hood of the clock up and away from the main body of the clock case.  Access to the movement is then very straightforward eg for pendulum removal and replacement etc etc

The clock is very ornate and would enhance any size home!

This clock is made from solid Oak throughout and is in excellent used condition!  The finish is a glossy medium Oak.  Please see all pictures. The clock has been well looked after by the previous owners.

The clock has a German Hermle movement installed which is in excellent working order! I am unsure of the history of the clock but as mentioned, is working extremely well.  If however the new owner would prefer a service before sale I will be happy to do this if the full price of the clock is paid.

The clock has Westminster chimes which can be silenced at any time using the lever located near numeral 3. This lever is also to select the chime.

The moon dial is very ornate and in perfect working order.  The dial is in near on excellent used condition.  The moon disc does have some mild pitting which cannot really be seen without close inspection.  The clock is around 40 years of age.

The movement is powered by 3 brass heavy weights in extremely good, clean condition.  There are a few small imperfections/scuff marks but the weights are very presentable!  The brass pendulum disc has no dents but does have some surface scratches on one side which i found very difficult to picture.  However with the pendulum in position and the door closed the scratches cannot be seen. 

Access to the movement is via the rear of the clock. The pendulum however can easily be fitted and removed from the front of the cabinet via the pendulum door.

This clock is in excellent used condition and is made from solid Mahogany throughout.  It does have some very slight imperfections here and there but very small and hardly worth mentioning.  It has been finished in a shade of light-medium Mahogany.  I would estimate the age of the clock to be around 35 - 40 years of age.  

The clock has an Hermle weight driven movement installed.  It is an 8 day movement and is weight driven on chains.  I am unsure of the history of the clock hence unsure when it was last serviced so please bear that in mind.   Should the buyer prefer the clock to be serviced then I will be happy to do that. (Please allow a week for this).  However, I can confirm that the clock is currently in excellent working order!  

The movement has Westminster chimes and has the option to silence the chimes.  The chimes can be silenced by adjusting a push rod that is located in the waist of the clock, access to which is via the pendulum door.  The rod is also used to select the chimes again.

The movement is powered by 3 brass heavy weights in excellent condition.  There maybe a few minor imperfections here and there but all insignificant!.  The weights are very clean and presentable.  The dial is in excellent condition... it is a quality brass dial with a very ornate moon disc.  Likewise the pendulum is in excellent used condition.

Access to the movement is achieved from the rear of the clock.  However the pendulum can easily be removed and replaced from the front of the clock eg should you require to move the clock at any time.

The clock is extremely well constructed in solid Mahogany.  This is a top quality item, and would enhance any home!  I have taken a number of pictures which will hopefully show the quality and condition of this beautiful clock.

77"(H) x 16.25"(W) x 11.5"(D)

where (W)&(D) = widest parts of the base of the clock

(H) = height of clock to the top of the finial.
